Laboratory overview

 The developments of new energy utilization methods and energy-saving technologies are indispensable issues for the realization of a sustainable society. In order to solve such social issues, it is important to scientifically grasp and precisely understand "the process of using energy" and "the process of heat and mass transfer", and the development of simulation methods. It is necessary to create new engineering technology based on and the simulation results.
 In our laboratory, we have developed computer-based technologies such as atomic / molecular scale simulation, numerical analysis, and deep learning for "the process of using energy" and "the process of heat and mass transfer". Furthermore, we also verify the simulation results by experiments, and develop technologies based on the simulation results. We are conducting various researches to contribute to new energy utilization methods and energy-saving technologies.
